ABM Cloud and DUS Level: successful partnership in warehouse logistics automation

ABM Cloud has successfully completed the first phase of ABM WMS implementation for DUS Level – a significant step towards comprehensive optimization of warehouse processes. 

DUS Level, as a national leader in the plumbing, water and heating industry, has a portfolio of over 100 brands stored in a 5000 m² warehouse with a range of 15,000 SKUs. 

DUS Level’s business growth and range expansion created the need for warehouse automation to speed up processes such as receiving, placing, picking, controlling, shipping of goods and inventory. 

The following key objectives were achieved as a result of the ABM WMS implementation: 

• Reduction of manual labor: automation of key warehouse operations minimized the impact of the human factor and simplified the transition to electronic document management. 
• Storage optimization: automated calculations of places for goods placement with consideration of HGH and ABC-analysis helped to improve the use of space. 
• Problem management: the system ensures recording and analyzing cases of rejects, shortages and failures.  
• Inventory optimization: replenishment planning of picking areas was implemented for smooth shipment process. 
• Analytics and control: recording of stock status data allows evaluating the efficiency of employees’ work and warehouse management in general.
