Project Requirements
Project Implementation
The project involved managing all active buffered and under-ordering items, including over 3,000 SKUs of finished products, semi-finished goods, raw materials, and packaging. The implementation was divided into 3 stages:
Project Preparation: Preparing Data for Project Use
A diagnostic of the company’s current operations was carried out. The implementation team began by mapping the supply chain. We gained an understanding of the planning, production, and order processing of customers, identified the logic behind order placement, and determined which data was used. The "bottlenecks" in inventory management were identified, including the data present in the client's inventory system, which needed to be updated, and which data should be implemented, such as Lead Time, MOQ, and order cycles. Assistance was provided in creating a supply ordering process. The result of the diagnostics was the development of a technical task. Files for data exchange between the client’s inventory system and Intuiflow were created, and it was determined where inventory needed to be held, as well as what the buffer profiles and levels should be.
Project Launch: Learning to Use the System, Understanding Order Logic, and Verifying Data
At the client’s request, the launch was carried out in three stages: packaging, raw materials, and finished products, rather than with the entire inventory. Each product group underwent numerous iterations of filtering, analyzing, and cleansing data based on key supply chain elements. This process ensured that Intuiflow received accurate data during the exchange, which was used to generate automatic orders for production or suppliers.
By the end of the second stage, automatic data exchange was successfully implemented. Previously complex, labor-intensive, and unreliable manual calculations were automated, giving employees additional opportunities to develop their managerial skills.
Support (Methodological and Technical Support)
All data was gathered in a single database, and the inventory management system became more efficient and transparent for analysis. This created a foundation for the company’s stable future growth and development, freeing up time for process optimization. Meetings and recommendations were held to improve inventory turnover. Throughout the project, the ABM Cloud implementation team provided methodological and technical support to users and continues to do so through the Customer Success department.
Results of INTUIFLOW
JSC "Monomakh" implemented the automated inventory management system, Intuiflow, which now manages 100% of all active inventory items. From March 2018 to March 2020, the following results were achieved:
Qualitative Improvements
