Project Requirements
Project Implementation
The project began with training the KORMOTECH project team in DDMRP methodology. Meanwhile, consultants conducted an audit of current business processes directly linked to the supply chain. The next step involved formalizing, cleansing, and systematizing data. During the development and modeling phase, we identified where stock should be held and determined buffer profiles and levels.
Data Forms in ERP
We developed a form for managing all supplier order parameters within the ERP system. Additionally, we aligned the business process for data entry and maintenance, assigned responsibilities, and established a control system. We also defined precise supplier collaboration parameters such as Lead Time, MOQ, and ordering cycles.
Data Preparation
Multiple iterations of data filtering, analysis, and cleansing were conducted to refine key supply chain elements.
Automated Data Exchange
A fully automated data exchange between the client’s ERP system and Intuiflow was developed, tested, and successfully implemented.
Automated Raw Material Ordering and Production Planning
With Intuiflow, we automated previously complex, labor-intensive, and unreliable manual calculations, allowing employees to focus on developing their managerial skills.
Unified Database for All Supply Chain Data
This created a solid foundation for the company’s long-term stability and growth.
Implemented a New Reporting System
The inventory management system became more efficient and transparent for analysis, enabling continuous improvement (Kaizen).
Significant Increase in Employee Competence
Employees can now evaluate their actions in terms of their impact on reliability, efficiency, and financial performance, not just within their department, but across the entire company.
Results of INTUIFLOW
Key Outcomes:
KORMOTECH successfully implemented the automated production inventory management system, Intuiflow. As a result, the company significantly improved its operational efficiency across multiple key indicators.
Qualitative Improvements:
-
Eliminated the need for additional warehouse space rental. This became possible by reducing excess inventory levels by more than 50% and eliminating two major drivers of surplus: forecasting errors from previous periods and production in ‘optimal’ batch sizes.
-
Real-time visibility into the supply chain. The company can now accurately determine what needs to be produced at any given moment to meet customer demand. Weekly volume-calendar production planning and external ‘phone call adjustments’ are no longer necessary.
-
Eliminated manual order analysis. Customer orders are now directly processed in the ERP system, ensuring sufficient stock for fulfillment. As a result, regional managers no longer need to "play it safe" by overordering, and customer orders have become more stable, leading to higher overall sales and improved inventory efficiency for clients as well.
