Project progress
The implementation began in August 2021 and ended in November 2022
Time windows of delivery points were calculated and geo-graphic coordinates were generated based on addresses.
Thanks to this step, the efficiency of each unit in the fleet has been significantly improved. The driver immediately sees the roads and destinations in the correct sequence of visits.
It became possible to track the time a driver arrived at a point and the time he or she spent there.
Development of the ABM Route Sense application and its integration into the company’s processes began in 2024. This phase coincided with the system’s scaling.

FAQ
Is it possible to completely eliminate paper route sheets in favor of a digital solution?
Yes, this is one of the key outcomes of the implementation. KG Group has transitioned from printed lists of delivery locations to route sheets in a mobile app with a clear sequence of stops — the driver immediately sees the routes and locations in the correct order, without any paper-based paperwork.
Can data and reports from the system be exported to third-party analytics tools?
Yes, ABM Rinkai TMS supports automatic reporting settings with the ability to export data for generating reports in an external system — this specific requirement was one of the goals of the KG Group project.
How does the system allow you to monitor the driver’s performance on the route?
The system tracks the driver’s arrival time at each stop and the duration of their stay there. At KG Group, this has enabled the establishment of a clear mechanism for monitoring delivery performance and reduced the rate of late deliveries to less than 3%.
